NOISE_MEDIA ART
NOISE_Media Art Festival Vienna
12 - 15 September 2024 / Preview: September 11th
NOISE_Media Art brought together galleries, institutions, artists, musicians, collectors, and thinkers of media art at Palais Festetics, one of the historical buildings and the characteristic spaces of 19th-century Viennese architecture, in the 9th District. The media art fair, one of the few events of its sort worldwide, hosted rich content, including interactive installations, digital artworks, and different media art forms. This unique event aims to unite art enthusiasts interested in exploring various facets of media art.
The second edition of Noise_Media Art mainly featured artists with an experimental approach to their art practice. Noise_Media Art, which is only open to invited artists, galleries, and institutions, featured a selection of works by pioneering artists from today's art scene who produce outside of traditional media and use the possibilities offered by technology in their art practice.
Noise_Media Art features a multifaceted structure, incorporating galleries, exhibitions, music, workshops, and discussion programs. OI_Focus section hosted media artists from Turkey who met the Vienna audience. OI_Music, an essential element of Noise_Media Art, continued to provide its audience with a comprehensive experience at the intersection of art and music. OI_Talks Vienna, which is based on the combination of technology and art, featured a series of talks titled “Techno-Equality”.

Exhibited Artists:

Curated by Zehra Begüm Kışla
What do the images we encounter today reveal about the past or even the future? Can a meticulous examination of an image uncover previously overlooked connections? The exhibition examines experiences of synchronicity—a framework of temporal co-existence that redefines our understanding of the world as encompassing not only causal relationships between things and events but also meaningful coincidences arising from the interplay between our inner psychological landscapes and external phenomena.
Taking place at Palais Festetics in Vienna, a Neo-Renaissance architectural marvel, In Sync invites the audience to observe the synchronicities shaping our existence.
